Question by unkown: I am writing an of mice and men essay and I have a verb tense question?
My teacher wants me to talk about what I would have done in George’s place, that is killing Lennie.

Do I explain what I would do using I would or I will? I am not sure because I believe I an only supposed to use the present tense right?

Use would
Because you are talking about a hypothetical situation, you should use subjunctive mood.
